Founded
in 1994, CMSC Spirits Group, Inc., (CMSC)
under new management, simultaneously re-launched
their product lines at the annual 2008 Wine
and Spirits Wholesalers Association Expo
(WSWA) and the 2008 International Association
of Airport Duty Free Stores Expo (IAADFS).
Both
products, Espiritu del Ecuador® cordial
liqueur and the award-winning cream liqueur
The Spirit of Liberty® America's Cream
Liqueur, were lauded by retailers and distributors
and were immediately picked up for distribution
in seven states, as well as numerous duty-free
shops across the nation and the Caribbean.
The
New Jersey-based company had experienced
impressive success since it was first founded,
generating a loyal product following and
sales throughout the Metro New York area
and mid-Atlantic States. Espiritu del Ecuador
grew to become the Number One selling liqueur
in its home country, and The Spirit of Liberty,
introduced in 2004, was awarded the Silver
Medal in the 2006 San Francisco World Spirits
Competition.
But
it was CMSC's new management, lead by the
company president Tina LoBosco, a successful
Wall Street executive and entrepreneur in
her own right, who took the helm in early
2007, that's taking company and products
onto heights of success, and industry recognition.
CMSC’s
long-range plan has already resulted in
increased international industry and consumer-recognition
and sales increases exceeding earlier projections.
In
December 2008, the award-winning The Spirit
of Liberty® America's Cream Liqueur
and Ecuador's own Espiritu del Ecuador®
cordial liqueur, both won 2009 World Spirits
Competition highest honors of Platinum and
Gold Medals, respectively, in the category
of World's Best Liqueurs.
CMSC continues to establish new relationships
with national distributors who share the
same dynamic business model and growth trajectory.
CMSC anticipates strong and diverse brand
awareness and sales development in short
order, with the introduction of Love Potion
#9® across the country.
